The refund amount credited to ShopeePay are from the following payment channels:
- ShopeePay
- Cash-On-Delivery (COD)
- Other Payment Channels: Online Banking, Remittance/Payment Centers, Over-The-Counter
ShopeePay Offline refunds
For offline transaction refunds, please consult with your merchant on their return/refund policies. If your refund is approved by your merchant, then the merchant will request directly to the ShopeePay Offline team for refund processing. The refund will be processed within 5 working days.
For Activated ShopeePay Accounts:
1. The refund will be credited to your ShopeePay Account within 24-48 hours (for regular refunds) or 3 - 5 business days (for partial refunds) upon receiving a notification for approval.
2. If your ShopeePay is already activated but the approved refund amount will lead to the Monthly Inflow Breach** or Balance Limit Breach*, the refund will only be released once:
Monthly Inflow Breach**
- You increase your limit by verifying the ShopeePay account.
- You wait for the monthly inflow limit to refresh the next calendar month.
Balance Limit Breach*
- You reduce your current ShopeePay balance through Shopee purchases or withdrawals.
Note: To withdraw the refund from your ShopeePay account, you may transfer the money to your registered bank account.
Transaction Limits of ShopeePay
For Inactive ShopeePay Accounts:
1. The refund will be on hold until you are able to activate your ShopeePay account. Kindly activate your ShopeePay account immediately.
2. If you are able to activate your ShopeePay, the refund amount will be credited within 24 hours upon receiving the refund notification.
3. However, if you were only able to activate your ShopeePay after 15 days upon receiving the refund notification, the refund will be credited to your Shopee registered bank account instead. The refund amount will be credited to your bank account within 2-3 business days (or depending on the bank).
